Short, because we collect very little. This page describes exactly what happens to the details you send us and who else can see them.

What we collect

Only what you type into an enquiry form, and only when you submit it. That is:

  • Your name and email address, which are required
  • Your phone number, business name, state, type of business, stage, and any message — all optional
  • Which page you sent the enquiry from, and which service it was about

We use it to answer your enquiry and to keep a record of work we have discussed or done for you. Nothing else.

Your IP address is not stored

To stop automated abuse of the enquiry form we limit how many submissions can come from one address per hour. To do that without keeping the address itself, your IP is combined with a secret value and put through a one-way hash before anything is written down.

The raw address is never stored, and the stored hash cannot be turned back into it. It is used for nothing except that limit.

No cookies, no tracking, no third parties

This site sets no cookies. It writes nothing to your browser's local or session storage. There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel, no session recording and no fingerprinting.

It also makes no requests to third-party servers. Fonts are served from this site rather than from a font provider, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you did.

We sell analytics setup as a service to our clients. We are aware of the irony of not running it here, and we prefer it this way for a marketing site.

Who else handles your details

Three companies process data on our behalf, all in the United States:

  • Supabase — the database your enquiry is stored in
  • Resend — sends the notification to us and the confirmation to you
  • Vercel — hosts and serves this website

They act on our instructions. We do not sell, rent, or trade your details, and we do not share them with anyone else except where we are legally required to.

If you engage us, we will also submit information you provide to government agencies — a Secretary of State, the IRS, a local licensing authority — because that is the service. We tell you what is being submitted before it goes.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are kept while they are still live, and then for a reasonable period as a business record. Records relating to clients are kept for as long as we need them for the engagement and for the tax and business-record periods that apply to us afterwards.

You can ask us to delete your details at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep something specific.

Asking what we hold, or asking us to delete it

Email contact@pangeaup.com or call (305) 323-4165 and ask. You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it.

Depending on where you live you may have specific statutory rights — for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We will honour those requests regardless of where you live, because it is simpler and fairer than checking first.

Children

This site is for people running or starting a business and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.

Changes to this page

If we add anything that changes what is described here — analytics, a booking embed, an embedded map — we will update this page in the same change, not afterwards. The date at the top is when it was last revised.
