Case study · Grocery & halal meat
Jerusalem Market
A Middle Eastern grocery and halal meat counter moved off Square Online onto its own store — thousands of products kept in step with the shop's Square register, with pickup, local delivery and nationwide shipping.
The challenge
The store sold online through Square Online, but wanted a faster site of its own — without asking staff to keep a second product list. Square's register had to stay the single source of truth.
What we built
What's live today.
- A store that syncs itselfProducts, prices, photos and stock pulled from the shop's Square account every 15 minutes. Change it at the register and the site follows.
- The owner's rules, enforcedItems with no photo aren't shown and sold-out items can't be ordered — checked against live Square stock at checkout.
- Three ways to get itStore pickup, owner-run local delivery priced by distance, and nationwide shipping — with fees matching what the old store charged.
- Payment through SquareCheckout runs on Square, so every payment lands in the shop's existing Square account.
- Moved without losing searchOld Square Online product and policy URLs redirect to their new pages, so links and search results keep working.
- Google set up properlySearch Console verified with a sitemap, and the Business Profile updated with the order link — with every customer review answered.
